We are looking for a Full-time Healing Arts Reception Advisor. A Healing Arts Reception Advisor checks guests in for their Healing Arts services and handles requests to book or change appointments. This Advisor also handles some administrative support tasks and dispensary side work to support daily operations.

40 hours per week, 9AM to 5:30PM or 12PM -8:30PM, 5 days a week.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Calmly and efficiently check guests in for their sessions.
  • Accurately book, change, and cancel appointments.
  • Properly open and close the department each day according to standard operating procedures.
  • Create a welcoming environment in Healing Arts Reception personally with the guests and the physical environment.
  • Assist with linen room maintenance and dispensary duties, ensuring product availability for all services. Respond to therapist’s needs for facility and product written requests
  • Work side-by-side with therapists to assure smooth flow of appointments and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of each modality and an ability to describe them to guests.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well organized work area.
  • Assist in all areas of the Healing Arts operation and Kripalu as requested by management.
  • Clearly communicate all necessary information with guests, coworkers, supervisors, and therapists’ any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the department or campus that requires attention.
  • Builds effective relationships with customers, identifies customer expectations, tries to see issues from their point of view; offers practical solutions to problems.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years customer service or related experience.
  • Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Must have basic math and money handling skills.
  • Commitment to organizational values and mission.
  • Must be a team player.

 VALUED BUT NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of bodywork and/or other healing modalities a plus.
  • Familiarity with Kripalu or yoga preferred.
  • Prior experience with ResortSuite software a plus.
