JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Line Service Manager and with minimal supervision, the Line Service Technician is responsible for servicing both Lyon aircraft and transient aircraft that operate in and out of Pittsfield, MA. Additionally, the Line Service Technician is responsible for performing custodial duties including but not limited to, aircraft detailing along with hangar and grounds upkeep.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS -
Experience:
Prior aviation experience is a plus but not necessary; excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and great customer service skills are beneficial.
Education:
Unless otherwise approved by the Director of Human Resources, individual must have the following education;
INTERACTION: Works in daily contact with Customers, Management staff, other Line Service staff, Maintenance staff, and Flight Crewmembers.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, write, use arms and hands to fingers. Employee is also regularly required to perform physical exertion such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing and lifting material.
The work environment is both outdoors and indoors with regular exposure to adverse and extreme weather conditions, noise, fumes, airborne particles, toxic/caustic chemicals, moving machinery and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment ranges from medium to loud.
