Protective services Worker - Full Time Berkshire county --$1500 signing bonus
An exciting full time opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to keeping older adults safe. The position serves Berkshire county. The Protective Service Worker (PSW) conducts thorough assessments of reports of elder abuse, neglect, financial exploitation and self-neglect. The PSW provides services and referrals when allegations have been substantiated. The successful candidate will be competent in forming positive partnerships with older adults, caregivers, and affiliated professionals involved with providing protective services and supports. Successful applicants will have outstanding crisis intervention skills, be detail oriented, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.

A Bachelors' degree from an accredited school in social work,human services, criminal justice, public health, gerontology or related field, experience with case management and crisis intervention services preferred.
This is a M-F 35 hour work week position with a requirement to be available to work off hours in emergencies and to attend training.
