LifePath, an Area Agency on Aging, is a private, nonprofit corporation that develops, provides and coordinates a range of services to support the independent living of elders and persons with disabilities with a goal of independence. We also support caregivers, including grandparents raising grandchildren, in many ways.
Some LifePath managed programs are available in other areas as well. Hampshire/Hampden Counties: SHINE, Personal Care Attendant, and Adult Family Care. Berkshire County: Elder Protective Services and Personal Care Attendant.

Protective services Worker (2)- Full Time Berkshire County and Franklin County--$1500 signing bonus

Two exciting full time opportunities to join a dynamic team dedicated to elder protective services. One position serving Berkshire county the other Franklin. The Protective service worker (PS worker) conducts thorough investigations of reports of elder abuse, neglect, financial exploitation and self-neglect. The PS worker provides services and/or referrals when allegations have been substantiated. The successful candidate will be competent in forming positive partnerships with local agencies and affiliated professionals involved with providing protective services and supports.  Successful applicants will have outstanding crisis intervention skills, be detail oriented, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.

A Bachelors' degree from an accredited school in social work,human services, criminal justice, public health, gerontology or related field, experience with case management and crisis intervention services preferred.

This is a M-F 35 -37.5 hour work week position with a requirement to be available to work off hours in emergencies and to attend training. This is a key position accompanied with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, excellent work environment  and an outstanding benefits package including; Health, Dental, Vision, Company paid Life Insurance, Short term disability and HRA, Additionally the position offers a  401K retirement plan, flex scheduling/remote options and generous paid time off . $1500 sign-on bonus split into two equal payments of $750 paid upon successful completion of 60 days and 9 months  continued employment.
