The Access Center Triage and Treatment RN has a dual role function. The RN administers treatment or vaccination to all approved ages in accordance with CDC and Massachusetts DPH guidelines. The RN also works to assess patient needs and answer questions over the telephone and via e-communication methods. Through telephone assessment, the Registered Nurse recommends the patient to the appropriate level of care: primary care physician, urgent care, emergency care. Patients range from newborn to geriatric. The RN provides clinical guidance to CSR and other operational staff in the Access Center.

  • RN License - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts
  • CPR required.
  • Electronic medical records experience and strong comfort level using computers.
  • Experience using multiple phone line system.
  • Evidence of performance as a professional role model and leader
  • Recognized by peers as an experienced and competent clinician in ambulatory or med/surg nursing practice.
