Description:
Job Purpose:
Responsible for successful production and operation of food service. Manage line staff during set-up and service. Assist Executive Chef and front of house managers in ensuring optimal food and service standards are being adhered to. Utilize products effectively in special offerings.
Assist Executive Chef in controlling costs, supervising staff and maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
Experience:
5 years of experience in a high volume restaurant. Previous experience managing staff is a plus

Education and Certification
Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
Serve-Safe Certification
Allergen Awareness Certification

Specialized knowledge:
Has thorough knowledge and understanding of kitchen equipment use and operation
Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office, POS systems and Open Table

Skills:
Has excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques
Outstanding management, organizational, communication and leadership abilities

Character:
Models and Promotes Teamwork at all times
Motivates team to excel
Respectful to and mindful of all managers and staff in department, on property and within company
Acts as an agent to help ensure guest and staff satisfaction

Physical:
Ability to bend, stoop, stand for long periods of time
