This is accomplished through various programs offered: residential homes including independent apartments, employment services, day programs, adult family care, transitions, advocacy & family support, special needs pooled trusts and a mail-house staffed by people with disabilities that serves dozens of businesses across Western Massachusetts. Berkshire County ARC is seeking a Developmental Specialist to assist the Case Manager in the assessment of individual's abilities and the development of active treatment goals and training methods. Seek input from all developmental specialists and social support.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in related field and one year experience working with people with disabilities preferred. At least two years working in a training program for people with developmental disabilities will be accepted in lieu of Bachelors Degree. You must possess a willingness to learn, commitment to detail, data collection/analysis and a desire to be creative in implementing teaching approaches to achieve specific outcomes. This position is 37.5 hours per week, Monday thru Friday.
