The Williams College Development Office is pleased to announce an opening for a Gift Planning and Trust & Estate Administration Coordinator, reporting to the Executive Director of Gift Planning and Director of Trust and Estate Administration. This position provides seasoned administrators, emerging professionals or recent graduates the opportunity to gain experience in planned gift fundraising and administration for higher education. We are looking for a mission-driven, relationship- and results-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and desire to learn the dynamic field of gift planning. As the Gift Planning and Trust & Estate Administration Coordinator you would join a deeply collaborative team that markets, identifies, cultivates, solicits, administers and stewards life income gifts, bequests, and gifts of alternative assets. The Gift Planning team is a key player in Williams College's multi-year initiative-based fundraising campaigns in support of the visions laid out in its strategic plan.

This role is a full-time, year-round, regular appointment and is eligible for up to two days per week remote work from locations in MA, CT, NY, or VT subject to our remote and flexible working policy.
Responsibilities You will provide a wide range of administrative duties, including correspondence and direct contact with colleagues, donors, life income gift beneficiaries, and their family members, scheduling, and some event and travel planning. Responsibilities include gift, proposal and donor data management and analysis, plus budget and expense management in a deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications Associate's degree and at least 2 years relevant experience required Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks on set timeframes Excellent computer skills, including advanced knowledge of both Microsoft and Google software and facility with databases. Experience with CRM databases is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills, including drafting correspondence and proofreading materials High level of accuracy and acute attention to detail
Professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others while maintaining successful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds Knowledge of development, gift planning, trust & estate administration, and personal finance and tax a plus, while a capacity to learn it is essential
