Williams is pleased to announce the search for a Director of the PEACe Office (Prevention, Education, and Advocacy in Community). The PEACe office provides direct student support related to intimate violence response; administers training on intimate violence prevention; and collaborates with campus and community partners to identify and leverage promising practices to support a thriving campus community.
Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Director of PEACe will be a servant leader who carries out the vision for prevention efforts and education. The director will have demonstrated and deep experience in providing effective crisis intervention and advocacy and referrals to survivors of sexual violence, intimate partner violence, gender-based harassment, and stalking. Furthermore, the Director will integrate both principles of trauma-informed care and anti-oppression approaches to their work with survivors and the community.

The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with many different individuals, offices, and departments on campus is essential. The Director's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervising prevention-based staff; Overseeing PEACe campus-wide events and initiatives; Serving as a confidential resource to survivors of sexual assault, stalking, and intimate partner violence; Serving as a liaison between survivors and campus offices providing student services, the Title IX Office, community-based organizations, Campus Safety Services, and law enforcement; Providing and coordinating the provision of support to co-survivors; Developing and administering sexual violence prevention education programs on-campus; Providing mentorship to student groups whose missions include supporting survivors and those affected by sexually violent behavior; Collaborating with campus partners in the provision of education, advocacy, and care for the campus community; Collaborating with the Title IX office on prevention and education efforts; Collaborating with the Title IX office and other campus partners in the provision of supportive measures;
Maintaining relationships and partnerships with community-based and national organizations; and Managing the office's budget.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, preferably in public health, public policy, counseling, or related fields; advanced degree preferred; A minimum of 5 years of experience; Supervisory experience; Demonstrated experience in educational program design, implementation, and evaluation; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Excellent organizational skills.
This position is a full-time, year-round appointment. Some evening and weekend hours are required. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications; the range for this position is $110,000-$125,000.
