Responsibilities include determining clinical eligibility for MassHealth-funded services for nursing facility stays and completing in-home assessments of service needs for individuals. Excellent written, communication, and computer skills required. Geriatric/Long Term Care and community-based nursing experience preferred. Registered nurse with a valid Massachusetts license. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or Associate of Science in nursing and at least one year of clinical experience in a community or long-term care setting. Qualifications · Ability to exercise independent judgment · Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills · Demonstrated interpersonal skills · Ability to develop and maintain records and communicate clinical data in verbal and written form · Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of nursing · Current Driver's License (and insurance) Required AA/EOE Pittsfield, MA Job Type: Part-time Pay: $32.88 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30 per week Medical Specialty: · Geriatrics Schedule: · 6 - 7.5 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: · Nursing: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: · RN (Required) Must have Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or an Associates of Science degree in Nursing and at least one (1) year of clinical experience and/or nursing in the community or long term care setting.
