Paraprofessionals provide assistance to teachers and other school personnel in the delivery of quality education and support services for students in an array of classroom settings. Examples of support services and educational settings include, but are not limited to: life skills, developmental classrooms, social, emotional, & behavioral support, visual or mobility orientation, language learning delays.
Job Responsibilities: Perform all tasks necessary for the efficient functioning of the classroom and the school; follow classroom routine and understand role within the classroom structure; appropriately assist student in all areas as directed; demonstrate appropriate skills and judgment when assisting student; demonstrate appropriate behavior management skills; ability to maintain professional congenial attitude mandatory.
