Are you Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant in MA?  Do you have availability in Summer 2024 between June 17th and August 17th, and love kids and camp? Come work, live, and play with us this summer!  Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA, a premier overnight summer camp for youth in Southern New England, is seeking a Supervisor for Healthcare Services for our residential services.

Time Commitment:
Ideally someone would be willing to live on-site with use for the full summer between June 17th
and August 16th.  If shorter commitments may yield more candidates, then we would ideally
prefer a candidate to commit to at least 4weeks: June 23rd to July 19th or July 21 to August
16th.  We also are looking for someone who may only want to work weekends between June
23 and August 16th, to complement a steady live-in candidate and offer some reprieve.

Accommodations and Amenities:
On-site housing include a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with air conditioning, full kitchen, and high
speed internet.  Partners/significant others (including a dog) may also live in residence (they
must pass all applicable background screenings and medical clearances).  Breakfast, lunch,

waterfronts and miles of trails to enjoy.   Nearby cultural venues include Tanglewood Music

performances), museums, and a plethora of additional summer tourism attractions.

Program Discounts:
If a candidate has age eligible children for our day camp (ages 5-12) or resident camps (ages
8-15), applicable program discounts would likely enable their children to participate for free.

nurse, EMT, and a medical assistant to provide medical care for approx. 300 campers and

were admitted to the infirmary or had an appointment.  Typically, this would involve evaluations
for strep (running a rapid test), impetigo, running a fever, etc. and be able to treat/prescribe as
needed or refer to Urgent Care/ER for further care as needed.  BCCYMCA contracts with the
Berkshire Medical Care system for medical control and standing orders and 24/7 telehealth.
