Part Time Sociology Lecturer
To Commensurate With Experience
The Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work Department invites applications for a part time sociology lecturer to teach three courses during the Spring 2018 semester. Our interdisciplinary department offers a sociology major and hosts a variety of minors, including anthropology, criminal justice, child and family studies, and social work. The spring semester runs from January 17 through May 9, 2018.
The preferred candidate will teach two sections of Social Problems (SOCI 201) and one sociology elective course in the candidate's domains of expertise.
Course Description SOCI 201:
Studies problems and disorganization in modern industrial society such as: poverty, racism, sexism, environmental pollution, militarism and family issues.
Ph.D. in sociology preferred, master's degree and college teaching experience required.
