Homemaker and/or Personal Care Workers are needed to provide services to the elderly. This is a wonderful part time opportunity for CNA’s, Home Health Aides and other qualified applicants to make a difference in the lives of the elderly, physically disabled or those who need assistance. The services provided will enable the elderly and other individuals to live safely and comfortably in their own home.
The Personal Care Worker ("PCW") will be trained to provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, toileting, assistance with ambulation and transfers, and reminders about medications.
A Homemaker will provide assistance with various household services such as meal planning and preparation,purchasing food and household supplies, light housekeeping, doing laundry laundering and making beds. These household services enable a disabled or dependent person to be safe and comfortable within the home setting.
Employees who are hired will be required to provide Personal Care services and/or Homemaker services as needed. A full and comprehensive training program is provided by BFAIR for all newly hired employees. Employees are paid to attend the training which is intended to provide competency in all the basic requirements for the job.
New Hire Bonus (5/1/19 – 7/1/19)
$250.00 paid to new employee at the end of the month upon successful completion of Day 1 & 2 of Orientation.
$250.00 paid to new employee at the end of 6 month’s employment from date of hire; Relief staff must complete 6 months from date of hire and worked 200hrs.
$250.00 paid to new employee at the end of 1 year employment from date of hire; Relief must complete 1 year employment from date of hire and worked 400hrs.
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license with ready access to an automobile is required. CNA or Home Health Care Aide License/Certificate preferred, however they are not required. A full training program will be provided.
