The Quality Control Supervisor will play an integral role as a member of the QC Department.
PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all team members are acting in a safe and responsible manner while on company property.
Actively engage in safety initiatives to deliver a safe and effective working environment for all employees.
Ensure team members are following proper procedures and methods to ensure the highest level of quality in all processes and outputs, investigate deviations for corrective action and implement as determined.
Understand the requirements of each piece to be made from a safety, quality and productivity perspective in advance of production to ensure effective efforts by all team members.
Determine staffing needs / crew size to meet scheduled production. Review staffing levels against project budgets.
Participate in the preparation of production schedules to achieve on-time production targets.
Supervise the efforts of the team to complete manufacturing efforts at a minimum of on time, on budget and to specifications.
Plan for the necessary materials, equipment, and tool needed for daily plant production.
Solve problems that arise during the course of business or elevate the issues to management with a potential solution to be evaluated.
Coordinate plant activities with various departments to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
Develop and implement continuous process improvements.
Ensure team members are adhering to company policies, contract terms and direction of company management and address deviations using the company corrective and disciplinary action system.
Act at all times with the highest level of integrity and honesty and apply the golden rule in daily activities (Treat others as you want to be treated!)
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES
High School Diploma or equivalent
PCI Certification preferred
ACI Level-1 Certification preferred
