Since its launch by the Berkshire Council for Growth, Berkshirejobs.com's focus has always been about helping employers fill positions with quality employees that add to the economic health of Berkshire County and the surrounding communities.
In April 2001, Boxcar Media LLC was selected to redevelop and manage the operation of Berkshirejobs.com. In 2005, Boxcar Media, LLC became the outright owner of Berkshirejobs.com. Boxcar Media has consulted with Human Resource professionals from HRABC and community organizations such as the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, Berkshire County Regional Employment Board, and Berkshire Works to constantly provide the service and features to keep the site efficient and effective for all users.
Boxcar Media's development and management of the site continues a tradition of meeting the needs and goals of Berkshire County employers and job seekers through innovative technology, increased functionality and expanded marketing efforts. The project team for the site consists of individuals with extensive experience in web design and technology, human resources and marketing.
